About IGS

Founded in 2014, the Indonesian Gas Society (IGS) is a non profit convener that advances Indonesia’s gas industry end-to-end upstream, midstream, and downstream by integrating commercial, technical, operational, human capability, and HSSE dimensions into one credible forum for evidence-based dialogue and collaboration.

IGS connects public and private stakeholders to co-develop sound policies and strategies, catalyze prudent and low cost investment, and expand efficient, reliable infrastructure that unlocks multiplier effects across derivative industries while improving safety, transparency, and performance along the value chain.

Amid rapidly rising domestic demand and intensifying regional competition for supply, IGS helps ensure secure and affordable gas for Indonesia’s growth by strengthening workforce competencies, accelerating capability building and training, and exploring complementary energy alternatives that support a cleaner, more sustainable future.
